History: Born in the west to a Miller, Duergath learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Miller. Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When Hatae reached her early adolescence her Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born in the north. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and someone believes him a fraud

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Ella never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
