In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has achieved small success as a Butcher.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Carlin was born on a far northern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Detective. She struck the Detective job and began her own company from there.

Personality: Eldon wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Eldon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to reunite with his absent father
