Personality: Leaf speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dyer for hire.
