Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears silk and lounges about seductively. His auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.
History: Gennal lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: She was born into a rich family. Nimble was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Nimble decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears blue painted combat armor at almost all times, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His white hair and beard is wavy and long. This brown eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Layabout arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Criella was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Criella decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Interpreter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 3'11" when asserting himself. He keeps his chestnut hair in a pixie cut. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.
Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: Morkral hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
