He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Melech will drive conversation. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Melech liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.
