Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Gilthur was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Barbena reached her early adolescence her Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
