History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Robbie fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Charles was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Charles's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Eva is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in the west to a Sailor, Eva learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Eva grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Eva. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Map Maker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
