History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Through the years after Vani was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Vani's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Vani and her spouse have recently divorced.
