History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Drifting is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Shipwright but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Drifting was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered singing. She has never given up on her singing dream.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A freak accident while working with her Blacksmith mother left her crippled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and a deep hatred of giants

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
