History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

She wears her silver hair up in a very large beehive style do. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.
History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Wella and her spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: Bhevek was born the youngest of three triplets. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Description: She very much looks the part of a Tanner. She carries with her a set of pickaxes, each one with a opal on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her golden hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a small hat. Her amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Maegan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: Further expansion of business; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This woman stands a little under 3'5" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears a tan tunic with blue highlights, and long red pants that bunch up around her shoes. She keeps her blonde hair in a pixie cut. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.
Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.
History: She got into the Soapmaker business at a young age. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lilli grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lilli. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Her tan leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her pastel boots flare out at the collars. She has a hunchback. Her brown fur is long and unkept. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.
Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.
