History: Ilanis lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ilanis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
