History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: 5'4" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy red hair. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his broad white hat.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Shágflak embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Orcs. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Spice Merchant business.

History: He was born into a rich family. Shágflak liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has achieved small success as a Dyer.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He became a Cook soon after.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His brown hair is smooth and relatively long. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Heian enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Heian was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Heian and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
