History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Lamlis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Lamlis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Riswynn was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Riswynn's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
