Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Jane reached her early adolescence her Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Emma was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Emma's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She's also a talented Slave Trader, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and balancing her hectic life and new fisher responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Gale was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ilanis studied abroad. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. Alexandre enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Dell hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and she has a crush on the local dyer

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears dull red sweaters, loose white pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed longsword, just in case. His red hair is thinning but still full. His green eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed red hat.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born to a Miner, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: She is a physically imposing light-skinned woman. She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She has shaved her head bald. She has gleaming, smiling green eyes.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has achieved small success as a Ruler.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
