Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ortegar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After a long history of fighting, Nutae and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

History: Born to a Masseuse, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Masseuse they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Glassblower, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Shadow was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
