History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Pelt was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She became a Healer soon after.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Nikki has worked very hard to control her curse. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the south to a Shoemaker, Nazdûg learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Seeks redemption.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Enna was born with her father's beautiful face. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
