Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Findex was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Now he works as a dancing tutor during his time off.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. The war was a terrible time for her, and Merla does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born to a Cook, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her first spouse was a Cook, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Gimgen and his spouse have recently divorced.
