History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.
History: He comes from a rich western family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Lûgnak abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's looking for his big break

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears a brown costume with the symbols of the sun god on her torso. She has a long black ponytail with little hanging trinkets. Her hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Vonana lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Being a Doctor kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the west. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Her golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.
Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She enjoys reading and quiet.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Marastyr was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When Marastyr reached her early adolescence her Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
