Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a violet costume with the symbols of the sun god on his torso. His blonde hair is knotted and matted. His eyes are likewise green.
Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.
History: Born to a Weaver, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arannis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arannis. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.
History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.
History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: To settle down with her crush; and to reunite with her absent father

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, she wears dull green sweaters, loose yellow pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed warhammer, just in case. She wears her dark red hair up. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.
History: Sekhmet was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Her auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her eyes are likewise brown. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.
History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has never given up on her writing dream.
Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'4" when asserting himself. His white hair is heavily combed to the left. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Quillathe was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
