History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Through the years after Zook was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Zook's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shifting grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Dell will drive conversation. Dell is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her first spouse was a Guard, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Shepherd, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Ellyjoybell isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Stableman but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: The child of a Soapmaker, who enjoyed hunting, Ellyjoybell was taken on many hunting expeditions. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She bought a bastard sword and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Eran alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Eran and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it

She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Avice was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Avice was born on a far southern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Dyer. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
