History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. After a long history of fighting, Heian and his spouse have recently divorced.
