History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Whurdred alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. After a long history of fighting, Helen and her spouse have recently divorced.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Miner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. After months of barely getting by, Therai managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

History: The child of a Spy, who enjoyed hunting, Gimgen was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
