History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Carter.

Description: 6'2" and muscular, this western man is wearing a long, green, dusty cloak. He wears a colorful flower in his white crest. His eyes are gold and catlike.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Heskan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: The child of a Engraver, who enjoyed hunting, Cairn was taken on many hunting expeditions. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and doesn't want to be a roofer and was forced into it by his family

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the west were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Gifted from a young age, Frug studied abroad. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: This man stands a little under 3'11" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His white hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
