The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Gifted from a young age, Meriele studied abroad. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: Grai lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. After coming to the age of reason, Grai took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. History: Oppleby was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by drow in a raid when she was still a young child. The drow captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
