History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
