History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Cloud took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up hammer and armor she uses now. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Oriel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oriel. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
