History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and expand his business

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Born in the south to a Server, Rael learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He struck the Server job and began his own company from there.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Orla grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Orla abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the south were limited. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
