History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Halimath was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the south. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. A true patriot, Tyna would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Tyna was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. She found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

History: Gifted from a young age, Dayereth studied abroad. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
