History: The child of a Spice Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Paela was taken on many hunting expeditions. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it.
