Description: This man stands a little under 5'6" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a simple grey robe with blue stripes complete with hood. His white hair is lengthy. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Ernest was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Ernest decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: Berrian was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Berrian and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 4'8" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears a black deerstalker hat and black clothes. She has red hair. Her eyes are black and beady.
Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. When Azza reached her early adolescence her Tiefling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

She carries with her a set of glaives on her belt, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. Her auburn hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her skin is flawless and her blue eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: Mary speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Miller arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dwarven companion (her 'brother'). She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Tiefling culture. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.
History: She is a Slaad in disguise. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tiefling people; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. After a long history of fighting, Oppleby and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to prove his worth to the world
