History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Helen grew up listening to her father's many stories. Through the years after Helen was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Emerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents were killed by orcs in a raid when she was still a young child. The orcs captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Ront lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
