History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 6 years.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Animal Trainer mother left him crippled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

This search led her directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She tends to her Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Body Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Body Guard for the past few years.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Jade hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.
