History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When Mastema reached her early adolescence her Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: She is a Scribe first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Elven companion (her 'brother'). She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born to a Locksmith, his father struggled to pay the bills. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears long strands of ruby and short pastel dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His red fur, when down, is lengthy. His eyes are likewise copper.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has achieved small success as a Sailor.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Description: He wears a black vest and prefers red and grey shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'4" when asserting himself. His red crest is matted, messy, and big. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She takes great joy in being the best Stylist in town.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
