History: Grai lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born in the west to a Merchant, Mamnen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with his Beggar father left him crippled. He tends to his Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born in the east to a Animal Trainer, Heather learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
