History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Rimple has worked very hard to control his curse. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: He was born in the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. She has slicked back silver hair. Her eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 40. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and many dire rats want her driven away

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she feels threatened by others

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born into a rich family. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is his passion; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: She is a woman of bearing and well nourished. She prefers to wear pastel clothing when she does not wear armor. Her fur is red and very short. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His cinnamon fur is greasy and uncared for. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aura was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Merchant. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Merchant for the past few years.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
