History: Born in the north to a Carpenter, Nutae learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Bowyer, but he got bored and became a Carpenter. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carpenter responsibilities is difficult; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Burto was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
