History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dragonborns in Sora's homeland. Sora decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: Eggren speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Eggren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Leucis is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Leucis was born the youngest of three triplets. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is mildly Tabaxi supremacist, though he does not identify as such. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Nora alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and she is content
