When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Being a Performer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
