Through the years after Wella was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. History: The child of a Brewer, who enjoyed hunting, Baern was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Damaia was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Sannl is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
