Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Veloptima was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.
History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She's also a talented Crown-heir, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Apothecary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Apothecary work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 8 years.
Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Apothecary responsibilities is difficult.

Her silver crest, when down, is lengthy. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gold.
Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.
History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and a rival would like her out of the picture
