History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 98. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has gray eyes and a red hat with a brown feather.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tailor. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: He is wearing a long, green, dusty cloak, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'8" when asserting himself. He has white hair. His eyes are gold and catlike.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His first spouse was a Shipwright, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to protect his home

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears suspenders and green workpants. Her shirt is yellow, and she wears a heavy green leather apron most of the time. She keeps her long copper crest kept up in a rat tail. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Gifted from a young age, Savaran studied abroad. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dragonborns became a terror of the countryside. Recently the stress of being a Fortune-teller has made it difficult for her to sleep.

History: He got into the Herbalist business at a young age. Riardon liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a worn and beaten armor, and is pretty ugly. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Mindartis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has achieved small success as a Jeweler.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and balancing his hectic life and new jeweler responsibilities is difficult
