A gifted student he started as a Knight, but he got bored and became a Navigator. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Forcas was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Forcas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Emma grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Gifted from a young age, Artin studied abroad. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Artin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Willow's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
