History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Kabbarg was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to pay off his debts

Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He bought a shortspear and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Painter, and she later adopted a second daughter.
