History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Heian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has never given up on his painting dream.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: An older man who wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is silver and curly. His ears are large.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Charles reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is greedy

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Chay was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Beggar for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Beggar responsibilities is difficult.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'5" when asserting himself. His long purple hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has several tiny emerald earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.
