History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Volen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and to pay off her debts

History: Beatrice was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Healer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Beggar, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Conrad was born the youngest of three triplets. Conrad abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Kothûg was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and a strong sense of loyalty to half-orc people
