History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Saphara alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born into a rich family. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Arumawann was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Arumawann never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
