Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft white waves gently in the breeze. His silver hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the north were limited. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mercenary for hire.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: He stands about 5'1" and wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His white hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: He was born in a small plains village. Kody liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. She wears her red hair up in a very large beehive style do. Her brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. Jane is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
History: She got into the Mortician business at a young age. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Description: This light-skinned male wears white leather gloves, a white jacket, and tight pants. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His tied-back hair is brown. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Chay grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Chay. Being a Scribe kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Verna will drive conversation. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: Verna lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

Description: This northern man dresses well, wearing black shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His clothes are grease stained in places. His long copper crest is drawn into a two foot long braid. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: He was born in the north. While he appears to be a normal Dragonborn, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.
History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miner.
