Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gimurt was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. History: He was born in a small plains village. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and many dire rats want him driven away

History: She was born into a rich family. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
