Description: He is a husky man, who prefers to wear brown pants and tee shirts. His brown hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a clover scrunchie. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Baern was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Fortune-teller for hire.

Description: This slender man stands about 4'10". He is well dressed, constantly wearing a yellow suit, green shirt, and black tie. He has dyed his greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. His blue eyes dart from person to person.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Riardon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Miner born in the past three hundred years. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.
History: Merla hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A freak accident while working with her Crown-heir father left her crippled. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She tends to her Priest job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a brown costume with the symbols of strength on his torso. He has wavy lavender fur. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.
History: Shifting was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and revenge

Description: An older man who wears a green shirt with thin blue vertical stripes and black pants, he is not a threatening figure. He has moderate length blue hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines red.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. The war was a terrible time for him, and Modean does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: The child of a Priest, who enjoyed hunting, Modean was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Modean took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up sai and armor he uses now. He bought a sai and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. Ernest enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: He was born in the north. Ernest was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Layabout. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
