She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Ishte lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Cook for hire.

He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature spear.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many orcs want her driven away; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Yevelda is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
